Project abstract:

The Cameroon focal point The Main Objectives of the EC platform is to do monitoring of European aid on the forests field in the country. The key documents using by project actors are: PSFE (Programme Sectoriel Forêts-Environnement), PRSP (Poverty Reduction Strategic Paper), FLEGT Action Plan (and Comments on FLEGT from Greenpeace and FERN), the Cotonou Agreement.. Main results:

• The follow up of the Voluntary Partnerships Agreement (VPA) process
• The involvement of NGOs/IPOs to the project activities;
• The sensibilisation and information of these NGOs/IPOs to the EC aid in Cameroon and the VPA
• Publication of reports and briefing notes on the forest management process
• Local Network participation
