In 2017, a high-level event in parliament was held together with REPAR, leading to the release of an official communiqué. From 6 to 7 December 2018, the second Parliament Government dialogue on land governance in Cameroon was held at the National Assembly under the theme « Youth’s access to land ».
Participants included parliamentarians, public administrations, traditional leaders, civil society organizations and young people from all the regions. They gathered to have a reflection on the main challenges related to youth’s access to land. At the end of the two day discussions, participants made recommendations for the land law reform to take into account the place of youth in Cameroon’s development strategy.
